Mr Phillip Keen Phillip Keen is the Coordinator of the NSW HIV Prevention Partnership Project, based at the Kirby Institute. This project began as an NHMRC Partnership Project in 2015 and has been extended with new funding from the NSW Ministry of Health. Phillip is also a PhD candidate at the Kirby Institute. |

Ms Cherie Power Cherie Power is a Senior Policy Analyst in the Centre for Population Health, NSW Ministry of Health. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of NSW. Cherie was the lead author and project manager for the development of the latest HIV Strategy 2021–2025, encompassing prevention, PrEP, testing, treatment and stigma. |
Abstract
The NSW HIV Strategy 2021–2025 was informed by research findings from a project co-led by the Kirby Institute and the NSW Ministry of Health that has undertaken monitoring and evaluation of the NSW HIV Strategies. Phillip Keen will present research used to inform the Strategy, and Cherie Power will provide an overview of the goals, targets and priorities of the new Strategy.
