The Kirby Institute is a world-leading health research institute at UNSW Sydney. We work to eliminate infectious diseases, globally. Our specialisation is in developing health solutions for the most at-risk communities. Putting communities at the heart of our research, we develop tests, treatments, cures, and prevention strategies that have the greatest chance of success. Doing so ultimately builds a safer, healthier world for everyone.
In 2021, our team of dedicated and passionate researchers contributed significant, impactful discoveries not only in COVID-19 research, but across our full spectrum of infectious disease research including HIV, viral hepatitis, and HPV.
Covering the breadth of infectious diseases and research disciplines, and our institute's key stats, we invite you to read the Kirby Institute Annual Report 2021.
