The challenge:
COVID-19 Infections in NSW are currently being controlled using a mixture of quarantine, contact tracing and social distancing measures. Ongoing analysis of local case numbers is required to assess the impact of these measures and project case numbers in the immediate future.
The project:
This project involves ongoing analysis and modelling of cases that have tested positive for COVID-19 and are provided by NSW Health.
The method:
Weekly analysis and modelling of data provided by NSW Health is being undertaken.
The impact:
Information provided to NSW Health is being considered in the health policy approach to COVID-19.
