Research interests are in the field of sexual health & HIV; clinical and laboratory aspects of sexually tranmsissible infections, risk factors and behaviours for STIs, and the relationship between STIs and HIV. Formerly responsible for developing a collaborative research programme between Sydney Sexual Health Centre and the Kirby Institute, UNSW. Now Staff Specialist at the Kirketon Road Centre, Kings Cross, Sydney, a primary health care facility involved in the prevention treatment and care of HIV/AIDS and other transmissible infections among "at risk" young people, sex workers and injecting drug users.
