Research interests are in the field of sexual health, HIV and viral hepatitis; clinical and laboratory aspects of sexually tranmsissible infections, risk factors and behaviours for STIs, and the relationship between STIs and HIV. Now Director and Senior Staff Specialist at the Kirketon Road Centre, Kings Cross, Sydney, a primary health care facility involved in the prevention treatment and care of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmissible infections and viral hepatitis among "at risk" young people, sex workers and people who inject drugs. The service also works with high numbers of the Aboriginal, homeless and LGBTI communities.
