Samaneh completed her Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology-Genetics from Iran in 2014 with emphasis on HIV tat gene sequence changes during the disease progress. Since then, she worked in Iranian Research Center for HIV/AIDS for six years with focus on HIV Molecular epidemiology and Viral immunology. Her PhD program in VISP is under the supervision of Dr. Chaturaka Rodrigo, Professor Andrew Lloyd and Dr. Deepika Fernando. Samaneh’s project is on characterizing differentiating biomarkers that dengue patients with plasma leakage have in early disease, compared to those without plasma leakage and non-dengue patients.
