Mr Quang Nguyen

Quang is a PhD student at the Kirby Institute. His research is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of point-of-care testing for infectious diseases (e.g., HIV) in Asia-Pacific using mathematical modelling. He is currently working with researchers in the Accelerating the UPtake of HIV Drug Resistance surveillance initiatives in Papua New Guinea (ACTUP-PNG) study. Quang graduated with a bachelor in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He gained working experience in academic medical research in Singapore in the fields of ophthalmology. He had established publication records on health services research, data science and health economics in major journals (e.g., JAMA, Lancet Digital Health).
