Senior Research Officer
Kirsty is a Senior research Officer at the Kirby Institute, with a focus on the evaluation of public health interventions relating to HIV and STIs. She has a particular interest in reducing the impact of HIV and STIs in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Kirsty's current work focuses on the implementation and evaluation of STI point-of-care testing in remote and regional health services across Australia (TTANGO2/3), and the design and implementation of the COVID-19 point-of-care testing program, which involves a network of 86 molecular point-of-care devices in 6 Australian jurisdictions.
