James Gray is a PhD candidate in the HIV Epidemiology and Prevention Program at the Kirby Institute. He has over a decade's experience in health promotion and public health policy, with a focus on community-based responses to HIV among gay men and other men who have sex with men.

James' current research is focused on the socio-behavioural aspects of preventing HIV transmission within the context of HIV sero-discordant gay male couples in Australia, Thailand and Brazil.
