Adam is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist at Sydney Children's Hospital and a Senior Research Fellow in the Neglected Tropical Diseases Research Group of the Global Health Program at the Kirby Institute. His holds a PhD on the management and outcomes for adolescents with perinatally acquired HIV infection in Asia. He is a member of the ASHM HIV National Advisory Group, ASHM HIV Guidelines Committee, ASHM Global Program Board Advisory Group, ASHM Paediatric Hepatitis C Guidelines Committee and the United States Department of Health and Human Services Pediatric HIV Guidelines Committee. In addition, Adam is working with the United Nations Development Programme and ACT-UP PNG delivering support for perinatal and paediatric HIV, syphilis and Hepatitis B across PNG and the Pacific. Adam's additional research focus is on neglected tropical diseases and geospatial analytics, involving multiple projects across Africa and Asia-Pacific.
