The ‘Mombasa Youth & Key Pop Study’ is a longitudinal research initiative providing real time social insights to guide a holistic health intervention for adolescents, young people, and key populations in the Kenyan city of Mombasa. This presentation shares challenges and opportunities around using social sciences for on-the-ground intervention implementation.

Denton Callander, PhD, is a social and spatial epidemiologist who studies health and well-being among socially oppressed populations. He currently leads research in Australasia, Africa, and North America.
