Abstract:
The TREAT Asia network is a collaboration of more than 30 adult and paediatric sites across Asia. The network supports large adult and paediatric HIV observational cohorts. NIH funding has recently been renewed through to 2021. This talk will describe the TREAT Asia collaboration, summarise some of the research findings from the cohort studies, and map out future directions over the next five years.

Bio:
Professor Matthew Law is Head of the Biostatistics and Databases Program. He is a biostatistician, with nearly 30 years experience working in medical research, 22 years at the Kirby Institute. Most of his research involves applying statistical and mathematical models to optimise treatment and prevention of HIV and STIs.
