Out of Thin Air: Capture and Visualisation of Tuberculosis (TB) Aerosols

Robin Wood is a registered infectious disease specialist physician with a wide international clinical experience. He has been involved in HIV and TB research over the last 26 years. Robin has authored and co-authored more than 500 peer-reviewed scientific papers with approximately 30,000 citations, been principal investigator of more than 50 clinical studies and has been a member of many scientific advisory boards including International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM), the international tuberculosis vaccine initiative (AERAS), and in the US Presidents Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

COVID-19 and vaccination: the South African journey so far!

Linda-Gail Bekker is an A rated clinical scientist, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Her interests include HIV, TB and STI treatment and prevention. She is also CEO of the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation which seeks to reduce the impact of HIV and related conditions amongst the most vulnerable through research and innovation.
