Dr Kandasamy’s research interests are infectious diseases in children and the use of vaccines to prevent them, with a focus on childhood pneumonia. |
Abstract
There is increasing evidence that genetic factors play a role in susceptibility and outcome of childhood infection and that this information can be used to intelligently develop clinical interventions.
