About your speaker

Dina Saulo trained as a nurse and worked in sexual health with the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council. Abstract

Sierra Leone was one of the three West African countries severely affected by the recent Ebola outbreak. An already fragile health system was stretched to breaking and required extensive outside support to bring the outbreak under control. Post outbreak, WHO has supported the establishment of new systems for disease reporting and response, strengthening capacity at both the local and national level. This presentation will describe the systems and how they have begun to function to address health issues for Sierra Leone.
