Abstract
Key findings from the latest Australian Asian gay and bisexual men survey will be presented, focusing on engagement with biomedical prevention, treatment and care in the context of the COVID epidemic. Intersections between gender, sexual and ethno-cultural influences will be discussed regarding diverse patterns of social connection and service engagement.
Associate Professor Limin Mao Limin Mao's social and behavioural research focusing on working with priority populations to prevent and manage HIV and other STIs in Australia. Her passion is to empower people with diverse gender, sexual, cultural and linguistic backgrounds to improve their health and social well-being. |

Dr Horas Wong Horas Wong led the project co-ordination of the Gay Asian Men’s Survey 2021. He is also an affiliate researcher at CSRH and KI, UNSW Sydney. Horas has a transdisciplinary background in nursing, public health, anthropology and health social sciences. His research interest is gender and sexuality, migration and qualitative research. |
