Abstract
It is now well established that gendered violence has serious public health implications. As university communities, we are increasingly aware of the serious level of gendered violence on university campuses.
Student activism and the Change the Course Report produced by the Australian Human Rights Commission in 2017 started a new conversation in Australia about safety on university campuses. This presentation focuses on the ways in which the UNSW Gendered Violence Research Network has used a social view of health and ecological models to respond to sexual and gendered misconduct on academic campuses.
