Applications are now open for the David Cooper Scholarship; an opportunity for an outstanding Australian or international candidate to complete a PhD in infectious diseases at the Kirby Institute.
Established in 2021 in honour of the late Professor David Cooper AC, the Kirby Institute’s inaugural director, the Scholarship continues his legacy and career-long commitment to training the next generation of infectious disease researchers, under the guiding ethos of equitable access to health for all.
The David Cooper Scholarship is supported by a network of generous donors to the David Cooper Memorial Fund. The Scholarship will support an individual to complete a PhD in infectious disease research in one of the range of the Kirby Institute’s research disciplines.
Applications are due by 27 January 2023. Learn more details about the Scholarship here and find the application here.
