UNSW Sydney has appointed nine new Scientia PhD scholarships to the Kirby Institute in 2019. These students will be supervised by Kirby Institute academics who are leaders in their fields, and they will undertake research that will contribute to the Kirby Institute’s broad spectrum of clinical, laboratory, and epidemiological infectious disease research.
The UNSW Scientia Scholarship scheme seeks to harness the university’s cutting-edge research to solve complex problems and improve the lives of people in local and global communities. Scientia scholars are selected on the basis of their strong commitment to making a difference in the world, by applying to a specific research area with an identified supervisory team.
The scholarships will commence in 2019 and we look forward to welcoming our new scholars to the Kirby Institute.
