Tom is a Harm Reduction Project Officer, Population Health with Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network and holds a Bachelor Arts in Psychology and Philosophy.

Mr James Wood
Programs Manager, Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network

James has worked across NSW Health in health management, strategic planning, and operational service delivery, currently as Programs Manager, Population Health with the Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network. James holds a Bachelor of Public Health, Master of Health Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Redesign.

Abstract

The prevalence of hepatitis C virus in the NSW custodial setting is significantly higher than the broader community. Direct-acting antiviral (DAA) treatment and harm reduction strategies have offered a unique public health opportunity to work toward elimination in NSW prisons.
