Associate Professor Limin Mao

Associate Professor Limin Mao

Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Sydney

Limin Mao's research focuses on exploring various social aspects of preventing and managing HIV and other STIs in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. Her passion is to empower people often marginalised by their connections with these conditions to improve their health and social well-being.

This presentation will provide an overview of the HIV/STI health promotion and service provision among overseas students in Australia, followed by a showcase of current sexual health promotion activities among UNSW international students and ended with a summary of key findings from the latest round of the Gay Asian Men survey.
