Dr Chan Phetsouphanh completed his PhD in 2014 at UNSW. He then embarked on a postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford (2015-2020), working on the role of MAIT cells and Cytotoxic CD4 T cells during HIV infection. He is currently working at the Kirby Institute (UNSW) as a Senior Research Associate focusing on T-cell Immunology.
Areas of supervision
Currently have several projects open for Honours, Masters and PhD students, these include;
- Investigating the drivers of long COVID
- Immunopeptidomics of Viral infections
- Immune response following Monkey Pox Infection
