Abstract
Since 2016, Taiwan has implemented the first government-funded pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) program in Asia-Pacific and adopted event-driven PrEP in the national guidelines in 2019. Such a setting provides a unique chance for us to understand the behaviour around PrEP use in a real-world setting.

While PrEP uptake has been gradually increased among Taiwanese gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men, challenges to PrEP scale-up persist. This talk will reflect on Taiwan's multi-modal PrEP implementation while highlighting the behaviour of PrEP use, facilitators and barriers from providers' and users' perspectives.
