Joanne Reekie joined the Public Health Interventions Research Group in June 2012. She has an ongoing interest in the epidemiology of hepatitis, HIV and other sexually transmissible infections, with a recent focus on reproductive health outcomes and healthcare utilisation among at-risk populations. Prior to joining the Kirby Institute, Joanne worked for 5 years as a HIV research statistician for the HIV Epidemiology and Biostatistics group at UCL. It was here that she obtained her PhD in Epidemiology, looking at the long term durability of antiretroviral therapy in a large European cohort of HIV positive people.
Qualifications: PhD in Epidemiology, MPhil in Statistics and Modelling Science, BSc Applied Mathematics and Statistics
