Dr Gijo Thomas is a Data Analyst at Kirby Institute, UNSW. He is an experienced biostatistician with a special interest in the analysis of healthcare data, particularly clinical trials and large longitudinal linked datasets.
Gijo completed his PhD degree in Biostatistics and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Queensland. He has been actively working as a biostatistician since 2008 and has both academic and industry experience.
Gijo worked as a biostatistician in one of the leading pharmaceutical company prior to his PhD studies at the University of Queensland. After receiving his PhD, Gijo continued his work at the University as an Associate Lecturer, consultant statistician and researcher. He has an ongoing association with the University of Queensland as an Honorary Fellow.
