Abstract

HIV notifications for overseas-born gay men in NSW have risen in the last five years. This presentation aims to provide an updated understanding of key HIV and other STI-related behaviours and practices among gay and other men who have sex with men of specific Asian backgrounds living in Sydney. It calls for comprehensive assessment of HIV  and STI prevention needs and desired approaches in the era of Treatment as Prevention and PrEP to be routinely conducted in this sub-population.
