Dr Peter D. Kwong - "Towards a Structure-based HIV-1 Vaccine"

Dr. Kwong is Chief of the Structural Biology Section at the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institutes of Health. He is internationally recognised for his work defining structural aspects of the HIV-1 envelope glycoproteins and their interactions with antibodies. Dr Kwong has received multiple awards and honors, filed 24 patents and published 91 papers in the last five years including 17 in Nature, Cell or Science.
